A DOME TRAP COMMUNITY PROGRAM

The Second
Chance Circle.

Good tools shouldn’t be out of reach
for the people who show up.

Can’t afford it? We understand. Find a community sponsor—or several—and develop a sub-leasing program in your local community. Lend for a fee to help support access to the equipment.

CHAPTER 01 · THREE WAYS TO MAKE ACCESS POSSIBLE

You don’t have to do it alone.

You can ask for help, offer support, or keep a shared tool moving through your community.

  1. FOR THE RESCUER

Bring your need to the circle.

Can’t afford it? We understand. Identify a local supporter, a business, or several animal-loving neighbors who may help fund the lease. Tell the Dome Trap team what your community needs.

    Ask about finding support
  2. FOR THE SPONSOR

Help put a tool in caring hands.

Support a community or rescue group you care about. One sponsor can help with a lease, or several can share the cost. Talk with the local team about who will hold and manage the equipment.

    Explore sponsoring a team
  3. FOR THE LOCAL HOST

Let one tool serve more people.

Coordinate a local sub-leasing program for trained borrowers. Lend for a fee to help support access, while keeping clear records for handoffs, cleaning and returns.

    Discuss a local lending program
CHAPTER 02 · FROM GOOD INTENTIONS TO SHARED ACCESS

A practical path, together.

  1. 01

    Gather your circle

Choose the community or team to support, the people who can help fund access, and one person to coordinate the lease.

  2. 02

    Confirm the actual lease

Ask Dome Trap about availability, start dates and shipping. The six-month lease is $600 upfront; contributions and local arrangements need to be agreed separately.

  3. 03

    Train. Lend. Care. Repeat.

Review the training, schedule local access and keep checkout, cleaning and return records. A locally chosen lending fee can help support ongoing access.

CHAPTER 03 · A WORKING COST SPLIT
SHARED FUNDING PLANNER

Plan a shared $600 lease

The community lease is $600 upfront for six months. Initial shipping and any applicable taxes are excluded and confirmed separately.

How many sponsors could share the lease?

1 sponsor at $600.00 each. Exact contributions total $600.00.

This is a planning illustration only, not a request for payment or a confirmed sponsorship.

Optional local fee planner

For a local lending host, this is a host-chosen planning worksheet. It is not an official Dome Trap charge, a guarantee of bookings, or promised income.

Planning-only local lending total: $40.00 per month at your selected inputs.

CHAPTER 04 · A LOCAL TOOL LIBRARY, WITH CARE

One lease.
A thoughtful lending plan.

Before the first handoff

Keep a simple lending record

Track the equipment, borrower, handoff and due dates, agreed fee and return condition. Keep personal borrower details private.

Train before lending

Review trap-training, correct use, cleaning and pack-up with each borrower. Confirm who will answer local equipment questions.

Return it ready for the next person

Plan cleaning, condition checks, storage and the final return to Dome Trap. Set local dates so the main lease return can be met.

CHAPTER 05 · THE SAME CLEAR LEASE, SHARED SUPPORT

Know the costs and responsibilities.

Sponsorship changes how a community organizes support—not Dome Trap’s lease price, shipping or cancellation policy.

FIELD NOTES · GOOD QUESTIONS, HONEST ANSWERS

Before your circle begins.

Can several people share the sponsorship cost?

Yes—one sponsor or several can help fund access. Use the planner to explore a split of the $600 lease-only cost. Agree separately on initial shipping, any applicable taxes, and who will hold the lease.

Does asking connect me automatically with a sponsor?

No. The enquiry starts a conversation with Dome Trap. There is no automatic sponsor-matching service, approved funding, reserved equipment or guaranteed availability on this page.

What happens when I join the interest waitlist?

The interest waitlist is a real saved signup: your name and email are stored privately for follow-up from the Dome Trap coordinator. It does not reserve equipment, secure sponsorship funding, or guarantee availability. The sponsorship enquiry below is different: it prepares an email draft in your browser, and its details are not saved by this website.

Can our local team lend the trap for a fee?

Yes. The community sponsorship approach encourages a local sub-leasing program and a lending fee to help support equipment access. Plan trained users, dates, cleaning, records and fees with the people responsible for the main lease.

What if we cancel before six months?

Cancel anytime before the six months are up and receive a refund for unused months, minus initial shipping. You pay shipping to you. Dome Trap pays return shipping. Discuss the request with Dome Trap and agree within your group how sponsor contributions or refunds will be handled.

Is a sponsorship contribution a tax-deductible donation?

This page does not represent contributions as tax-deductible donations. Check the receiving organization’s status and your own tax requirements before making any contribution.

What does the badge mean?

It is the visual identity of the Second Chance Circle community sponsorship program—not a certification, proof of payment, or automatic membership approval.
